Depending on the COVID 19 situation, I plan to have an Oxfordshire Artweeks exhibition in the autumn – probably early November. Watch this space!
Joined by sculptor Alison Munby and jeweller Rosie Colvin.
I will be opening my studio for this working studio exhibition of new mixed media work: Glyme Lane Allotments, woods, beehives, through the seasons, done in situ with Crabby Taylor. Some of her ceramics based on this project, exhibited here and also in Chadlington.
Launch of new artist’s book of local dog walks.
Paintings of remote atmospheric landscapes – mountains, coasts, trees – including Iceland, Faroe Islands, Shetland.
Artist’s books and cards.
I will be joined by jeweller Rosie Colvin, who I’ve had the pleasure to exhibit with many times. Her silver jewellery is combined with stones, sea-glass, fossils and felt to produce exquisite, one off pieces.
I will also be joined for the 1st time, by stone sculptor, Alison Munby. You may have seen her sculptures at ‘On Form’ at Asthall Manor. Alison Munby’s sensitive sculptures, inspired from natural forms such as a woodlouse or a fir cone, are pushed in new directions, with their dynamic and intricate surfaces. Some will be exhibited in the garden.
Part of West End Studios. 3 working studio venues with 6 artists exhibiting within 5 mins walk. Trail map available at venues. Other 2 venues: Printmaker Rosemary Atkins, painter Caroline Chappell, ceramicist Sue Lindon.
